  3. DOWNLOADING, COPYING AND USE OF THE DEMO ARE SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING 
  4. LICENSE AGREEMENT TERMS. PLEASE READ THIS LICENSE CAREFULLY BEFORE 
  5. DOWNLOADING, COPYING OR USING THE DEMO. BY USING THE DEMO, YOU ARE 
  6. AGREEING TO BE BOUND BY THE TERMS OF THIS LICENSE. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE 
  7. TO THE TERMS OF THIS LICENSE, DO NOT DOWNLOAD, COPY OR USE THE DEMO, 
  8. AND DELETE THE DEMO AND ALL RELATED FILES FROM YOUR COMPUTER.

  10. The software, artwork, music, and other components included in this 
  11. demonstration program (the "Demo") are the copyrighted property of 
  12. LucasArts Entertainment Company LLC and its licensors (collectively 
  13. referred to herein as "LEC").  The Demo is licensed (not sold) to 
  14. you, and LEC owns all copyright, trade secret, patent and other 
  15. proprietary rights in the Demo. LEC hereby gives you permission to 
  16. make copies of the Demo (only in its original form as provided by LEC) 
  17. to give to other persons and to distribute the Demo to others 
  18. electronically, provided that in all such cases you may not charge or 
  19. receive money or other consideration from any person or entity for 
  20. the receipt or use of the Demo OR ANY DISC OR MATERIALS CONTAINING 
  21. THE DEMO. You may not: (1) modify or prepare derivative works of the 
  22. Demo; (2) engage in network multi-player play of the Software over 
  23. unauthorized networks; or (3) reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble 
  24. the Software.

  26. You expressly acknowledge and agree that use of the Demo is at your 
  27. sole risk. The Demo and any related documentation or materials are 
  28. provided "AS IS" and without warranty of any kind. LEC EXPRESSLY 
  29. DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS AND IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT 
  30. LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A 
  31. PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NONINFRINGEMENT. LEC DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE 
  32. FUNCTIONS CONTAINED IN THE DEMO WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS, OR THAT 
  33. THE OPERATION OF THE DEMO WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR 
  34. THAT DEFECTS IN THE DEMO WILL BE CORRECTED. THE ENTIRE RISK AS TO THE 
  35. RESULTS AND PERFORMANCE OF THE DEMO IS ASSUMED BY YOU. SOME 
  36. JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES, SO 
  37. THE ABOVE EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

  39. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE, SHALL LEC, OR ITS 
  40. DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES OR AGENTS, BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY 
  41. INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING 
  42. DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF BUSINESS PROFITS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, LOSS OF 
  43. BUSINESS INFORMATION, AND THE LIKE) ARISING OUT OF THE POSSESSION, 
  44. USE, OR MALFUNCTION OF THIS DEMO, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGE 
  45. TO PROPERTY AND, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DAMAGES FOR PERSONAL 
  46. INJURY, EVEN IF LEC OR AN LEC AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE HAS BEEN 
  47. ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES OR LOSS.  SOME JURISDICTIONS 
  48. DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL 
  49. OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION MAY NOT 
  50. APPLY TO YOU.

  52. YOU AGREE THAT THE LIABILITY OF LEC ARISING OUT OF ANY KIND OF LEGAL 
  53. CLAIM (WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE) WILL NOT EXCEED THE 
  54. AMOUNT YOU ORIGINALLY PAID FOR THE USE OF THIS DEMO.
