  17. Although the "Europe!" software package is a complete product in itself,
  18. it also serves as level 1 of the "Around the World!"(TM) software package.
  19. Further information on this software is available by selecting "INFO"
  20. when you exit the "Europe!" game package.  If you do not wish to see
  21. this information, simply select "exit" at that time.

  23. "Around the World!" is in use in schools and other training facilities 
  24. in the United States, Canada, Europe and Australia, and is in use on home 
  25. computers all over the world.

  27. Torpedo Software will send you a copy of "Around the World!" with your
  28. registration of "Europe!".  The cost is $15, or the equivalent in your
  29. currency.  See the "INFO" section when you exit "Europe!" for payment
  30. instructions, and for ordering information for countries outside the 
  31. USA. You can use the file "order.txt" to order the software if you wish.  
  32. Please note that "Around the World!" is not shareware, but copyrighted 
  33. software.

  49. 0)  Fixes a bug where country borders for the "countries" game were
  50. invisible on some monitors; and fixes a similar bug where the export
  51. titles on the "exports" game were invisible.

  59. The "Europe!" software package is a fun and colorful way to become
  60. fluent in basic European geography.  It is effective for both children
  61. and adults.

  63. The "Europe!" software package may freely be copied or sold, by anyone,
  64. to anyone, any number of times, without royalty, to or from any machine
  65. or disk, for any reason.  Please pass it along to friends, local schools,
  66. or others who can benefit from its use.  Please provide this latest 
  67. version of "Europe!" to others that may have an older version.  You may
  68. not reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble this software.

  70. INSTALLATION AND STARTUP
  71.  
  72. To install the "Europe!" software package you only need 
  73. to copy a single file called "eurowin.exe" to your hard drive.  
  74. You can use the Windows "File Manager" or the DOS "copy" command for 
  75. this purpose.

  77. Next set up a program item using the program manager "File / New" 
  78. menu selections.  To encourage usage, we recommend installing the 
  79. file in a "Games" program group.

  81. To start the software, simply double click the provided World icon,
  82. or use other Windows methods for starting a program.  You can also 
  83. run the software directly from your diskette or floppy drive if 
  84. preferred.

  86. You may also wish to copy this document file "eurowin.txt" to your 
  87. hard drive.

  89. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
  90.  
  91. "Europe!" requires a 100% compatible IBM computer, Windows 
  92. 3.1 or later, 1 Mb of free RAM, a VGA monitor or better, and a mouse.  
  93. The software was tailored for 640 X 480 monitor resolution (standard 
  94. VGA).

  96. This software package contains four European geography quiz games:

  101.     4)  major geographical features.
