  48.     or place a wager of any kind.  You may only use the Predictions
  49.     to check their accuracy against the results published in the
  50.     media (Press, Television, Radio).

  54. c)    You may share the program with your friends, colleagues and
  55.     acquaintances, but please do not give it away altered in any way.

  76. a)    You may use the Predictions to complete a Lottery game or place a
  77.     wager, so long as it is for your own personal use.

  79. b)    You may not  give the Predictions to anyone.

  81. c)    You may not transfer the License to anyone without the express
  82.     permission of the author. Please note that the author will give
  83.     permission to transfer the License. It's no 'big deal', just give me a
  84.     ring.

  86. d)    This License Agreement ("License") permits you to use one copy of
  87.     J.Q.L. LOTTERY for WINDOWS ("Software") on any single computer,
  88.     provided the Software is in use on only one computer at any time. The
  89.     Site License permits you to have as many copies of the Software in use
  90.     as you have Licenses. The Software is "in use" on a computer when it
  91.     is loaded into the temporary memory or installed into permanent memory
  92.     on that computer, except that a copy installed on a network server for
  93.     the sole purpose of distribution to other computers is not "in use".
  94.  
  95.     If the anticipated number of users of the Software will exceed the
  96.     number of applicable Licenses, then you must have a reasonable process
  97.     in place to assure that the number of persons using the Software
  98.     concurrently does not exceed the number of Licenses.

  100.     If the Software is permanently installed on the Hard Disk or other
  101.     storage device of the computer (other than the network server) and one
  102.     person uses that computer more than 50% of the time it is in use, then
  103.     that person may also use the Software on a portable or home computer.

  120.             SETTING UP J.Q.L. LOTTERY FOR WINDOWS.
  121.  
  122. First you need to set up J.Q.L. Lottery to run on your computer.
  123.  
  124. Microsoft Windows version 3.1 or greater (from now on referred to as Windows)
  125. must be installed on your computer.  For information on installing and using
  126. Windows, please see your Windows documentation.
  127.  
  128. Switch on your computer and monitor.
  129.  
  130. FROM WINDOWS
  131.  
  132. 1.      Start Windows. If windows is not running, type  WIN  at the command
  133.     prompt (the  C:>  prompt) and press ENTER.
  134.  
  135. 2.      Open the Windows Program Manager window.  If the Windows Program
  136.     Manager window is not open, then double-click on the Program Manager
  137.     icon, (or press CTRL+ESC to display the Windows Task List, then press
  138.     the DOWN ARROW or UP ARROW key until the Program Manager item is
  139.     highlighted, then press ENTER).

  141. 3.      Insert the J.Q.L. Lottery program disk into your floppy disk
  142.     drive (if you are using a 5 1/4 inch disk or a drive that has a door,
  143.     then close the door).
  144.  
  145. 4.      From the Program Manager window, click on the word FILE to open the
  146.     menu and click on RUN, (or press ALT+F, and press the R key).
  147.  
  148. 5.      In the Command Line box, type   A:\SETUP.
  149.     (If you are using a different drive to drive A:, then type the correct
  150.     drive letter instead of "A:".  eg. if you are using drive B:, then
  151.     type B:\SETUP).
  152.  
  153. 6.      Click on the OK button or press ENTER.
  154.  
  155. 7.      Once the Setup Program has loaded, a series of instructions will
  156.     appear on your screen, just select the options which best match your
  157.     system and requirements.
  158.     Note the setup program expects to find your Windows SYSTEM directory
  159.     on the same drive as the JQLTTRY directory. If you want to place Pools
  160.     Plan on a different drive you will need to edit the file SETUP.INF and
  161.     change all the entries ..\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\ to point to the correct
  162.     drive and directory (i.e. C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\).
  163.  
  164. 8.      J.Q.L. Lottery will create its own Program Group in your Program
  165.     Manager window.
  166.  
  167. 9.      If you encounter problems running Lottery make sure VBRUN300.DLL
  168.     and CTL3DV2.DLL are in your SYSTEM directory.
  169.  
  170.     If the Problem still persists then lower your screen resolution to 640
  171.     x 480 16 colours (ie the "bog standard" VGA Windows driver) or obtain
  172.     a new driver from your computer supplier.

  176.     If VBRUN300.DLL or CTL3DV2.DLL are not in your Windows SYSTEM
  177.     directory then they must be copied across otherwise J.Q.L. Lottery
  178.     will not run correctly.
  179.  
  180.     From DOS type:
