Once you have made any necessary backups of your Destination File sounds, previewed your Destination and Source Files, and decided which sounds you want to change, you are now ready to begin customizing.
Replacement is rather straight-forward. Simply select the sound in the Destination File List you wish to replace by clicking on it, then select the sound you wish to replace it with from the Source File List. Then, click on the "Replace/Copy Sound" button located in the middle of the two lists.
Upon doing so, the selected sound n the Destination File List is instantly replaced by the selected sound from the Source File List. The newly replaced sound in the Destination File List is now marked as "changed" by a black bullet to the left of the resource name, as shown to the right.
Replacement can also be done by simply dragging the selected sound in the Source Files List to the selected sound in the Destination File List. This will perform the same function as clicking the "Replace/Copy Sound button," and will also cause the replace sound to be marked with a bullet to the left of the resource name.
Another method of replacement is to select "Replace Selected Sounds" from the Edit menu on the menu bar. The keyboard command for replacing is Command-M.
 
The "Pro" version of Agent Audio allows you to select and replace multiple sounds at one time, as well as add sounds to software. For more information, see the "Agent Audio Pro CD-ROM" section.
You can revert to the last saved state of your Destination File at any time once changes are made in your Destination File. There are three ways to revert, the first of which is to click the "Revert" button located at the bottom-left corner of the Destination File List.
 
You can also select "Revert Destination File" from the File menu on the menu bar, or use the keyboard command, which is Command-B.
Once you have customized your Destination File, you are ready to save the changes. There are three ways to do this, the easiest of which is to click the "Save" button located at far left of the button bar at the bottom of the Agent Audio Pro window.
You can also select "Save Destination File" from the File menu on the menu bar or use its keyboard equivalent of Command-S. Upon saving changes, the bullets that once marked the changed sounds disappear.
If you are finished customizing the Destination File, you can close it by clicking on the "Close Destination File" button located at the bottom of the Destination File List.
 
The same result can also be accomplished by selecting "Close Destination File" from the File menu, or by using the keyboard command, Command-W.
