  3.  The Irish Guards have beaten off the latest German counter attack and is now 
  4. trying to get back on schedule. We are already at least 24 hours behind and a all out 
  5. effort must be made if we are to continue this offensive. Your orders are to secure 
  6. the area ahead and continue to spearhead the drive towards Arnhem. Failure will 
  7. stall the whole operation and many cost the lives of the British 1st Paratroop 
  8. Division. Sadly, we do not have any up to date reports of enemy units or intentions, 
  9. so be careful.
