  1. Using the Removable Disk (RD) Runner
  2.  
  3. The Removable Disk (RD) Runner has been designed to automatically identify 
  4. the RD loaded and allow the user to run the application(s) which have been 
  5. previously entered into the RD Library. Similar in operation to the CD-ROM 
  6. Runner, you may run rewritable optical disks, floppy disks, or any other 
  7. removable media quickly and easily. Disks are automatically recognized based 
  8. on their Volume Labels, and optionally run as CD-Runner is loaded. Multiple 
  9. applications per disk may also be entered, and multiple removable drives may 
  10. be setup; CD-Runner also includes a sophisticated search engine to locate 
  11. applications on any disk in any drive and allow you to run them quickly and 
  12. easily.

  14. Custom passwords, titles, descriptions, sound/music files and icon/graphics 
  15. may be entered for each RD application. If a sound or music file has been 
  16. entered for an application (in standard Windows "Wave" format with a ".WAV" 
  17. file extension), then it will be played with the Run button is clicked. This 
  18. is especially useful to give voice help or instructions before an application 
  19. is run. See the Media Runner section for recording of custom Wave files.

  21. CONTROL SUMMARY:

  23. Power - Stops music or video if playing and unloads CD-Runner.
  24.  
  25. Window controls (upper right corner):
  26.    "_" - Minimize button - right click to minimize to systray.
  27.                          - left click to display small floating popup window.
  28. "Size" - (double small boxes or larger single box) toggles between full size
  29.          and half-size faceplates.
  30.    "x" - Windows exit button - same as pressing Power button.

  32. Menu - click to display the popup menu.

  34. Dsp (Display) - click to toggle between an expanded display or a normal 
  35. display (with RD Drawer showing).
