  1. Using the Audio CD Runner
  2.  
  3. The Audio CD Runner has been designed to look and function as much like a 
  4. real Audio CD Player as possible. Where possible, improvements have been made 
  5. (e.g. in place of Fast-Forward or Fast-Reverse Controls on a CD Player, an 
  6. integrated CD status bar allows you to view the relative position in the track 
  7. which you are at AND allows you to move to any desired position in the track 
  8. simply by clicking on the corresponding point on the status bar itself).

  10. CONTROL SUMMARY:
  11.  
  12. Power - (upper left corner) Stops CD if playing and unloads CD-Runner.
  13. Esc key - same as pressing Power button. 
  14.  
  15. Window controls (upper right corner):
  16.    "_" - Minimize button - right click to minimize to systray.
  17.                          - left click to display small floating popup window.
  18. "Size" - (double small boxes or larger single box) toggles between full size.
  19.          and half-size faceplates.
  20.    "x" - Windows exit button - same as pressing Power button.

  23. Volume Sliders - If the volume sliders are enabled in the setup section, then
  24. left & right channels may be increased or decreased in level by clicking
  25. the appropriate slider up or down. Note: if you are using the "Force
  26. Windows Compatible" volume mode, the "Lock" button is forced to the "On"
  27. position.

  29. Volume Lock - When lit (light blue LED), left and right sliders will move
  30. up or down in unison; when not lit (dark blue LED), then each channel may
  31. be moved independently of the other (except if you are using the "Force
  32. Windows Compatible" volume mode).

  34. Volume Mixer - If a mixer application has been entered in the setup section,
  35. then click to run it.
  36.  
  37. Volume Dsp (Display) - Click to toggle between an expanded display
  38. or a normal display (with CD Drawer showing).
  39.  
  40. Volume Mute - Click to mute or un-mute the volume.
  41.  
  42. Media - left click to jump directly to the Media Runner (complete version only).
  43.       - right click to display the popup menu.
  44.  
  45. Menu - left click to display the popup menu (SL version only).
  46.  
  47. CD Data - click to enter the CD Data section.
  48.  
  49. Playlist - left click to display the PGM playlist editor.
  50.          - right click to recall stored program playlist.
  51.  
  52. Library - click to enter the Music Library.
  53.  
  54. << - click to fast rewind the current track being played.
  55.  
  56. 0:00 - click to toggle time modes (track elapsed, track remaining, total elapsed,
  57. total remaining).
  58.  
  59. A<->B - track loop command; click once to set starting time of loop, allow track 
  60. to play to desired end position and click again to set ending time of loop and 
  61. engage endless looping. To turn off looping click again.

  63. |< - click to move to previous track.
  64.  
  65. >| - click to move to next track.
  66.  
  67. > - click to play track.
  68.  
  69. || - click to pause playback.
  70.  
  71. [] - click to stop playback.

  73. o - (record or rip) click to close the Audio CD Runner and launch the 
  74. CD Ripper.

  76. >20 - if a CD has greater than 20 tracks, click to enter track number to play
  77. or enter as programmed track.

  79. DJ - click to engage DJ (shuffle) mode (random CD song playback in 
  80. Pgm mode).

  82. Rpt - (Repeat) click to engage repeat mode.
  83.  
  84. Rip - click to close the Audio CD Runner and load the CD Ripper (equivalent
  85. to clicking the record "o" button above).
  86.  
  87. Info - left click to display info box (track selection, liner notes, 
  88.        lyrics, etc.).
  89.      - right click to close info box.
  90.  
  91. Play Mode / Pgm - click to enter program mode; use keypad to program tracks 
  92. or press Info and directly select tracks.

  94. Play Mode / One - click to play single track (via keypad or Info box).
  95.  
  96. Play Mode / Cont - click to enter continuous play mode; use keypad or Info
  97. box to start playback at desired song.
  98.  
  99. Play Mode / Intro - click to enter the intro play mode; this will play the 
  100. first 7 seconds (time interval may be changed in Setup / Advanced section)
  101. of each track until another control key is clicked (e.g. click the play 
  102. button to stop intro play and continue playing).

  104. Keypad - click to play desired track when in Cont or One Play Modes.
  105.  
  106. "Music Calendar track numbers" - click to play desired track when in Cont 
  107. or One Play Modes (useful shortcut when using half-size faceplate).

  109. "CD Drawer" - click closed drawer to eject CD; click open drawer to load CD.
  110.  
  111. "mousepointer up/dn" (font sizer) - click left mouse button on Artist, Title 
  112. or Song text to decrease font size used; click right mouse button to increase.
  113.  
  114. "Track Time Bar" - click to move to the relative track position desired.
  115.  
  116. "Track Time text" - click to toggle time display modes.
  117.  
  118. "WP On/Off text" - click to toggle wallpaper on or off.
  119.  
  120. "Covers" (complete version only):
  121.          - left click to select CD Covers display options.
  122.          - right click (shortcut) to restore CD Covers Viewer if turned off.

  124. "CD-Runner text" - click to access the popup menu.
  125.  
  126. "Faceplate" - click and drag faceplate using left mouse button; double-click 
  127. to center faceplate, right-click to display popup menu.
