  3. Thankyou for joining me to this discussion.  I hope to offer some
  4. constructive suggestions to the improvement of the Bad Mood engine.

  6. Can I start the ball rolling by asking two questions?
  7.  
  8. I have tried both versions (030 and DSP), and both appear to work well, but
  9. I was suprised by the fact that the DSP version wasn't much quicker than the
  10. 030 version.  I thought the DSP was many many times faster then the main CPU.

  12. Has anyone contacted Matrin Griffiths (Electronic Images) about this
  13. project?  This guy can SERIOUSLY code on the Falcon! - When I got my machine
  14. (one of the first in the UK) he had converted his protracker routine to not
  15. only use the DSP, but also to interpolate (sp?) and convert the samples to
  16. 16-bit on the fly.  This was done on my Falcon, in a 3-hour coding session!
  17. I suspect some of his expertise could be useful in this project - I can get
  18. hold of him fairly easily if anyone wants me to ask him!
