- The 'DOOM Emulator Engine' I've been talking about will be distributed
- on the list Monday afternoon/evening unless I get email before that from
- someone who'd have problems with a 170kbyte letter.

- I guess I should say something about the program, now that I've tried it:

- It actually works as specified, but it's not fast by any means.
- The game actually looks just like DOOM for the PC, including selection
- screens, smoke from shots that hit a wall etc.
- In low res mode with a half screen window or so, the game _is_ playable.

- I can't believe our game will be as slow as this, but it's nice to see
- what can be done. From a quick look at the code I'd hazard to guess that
- most of DEE is written in GCC compiled C, which hopefully is the major
- reason for the speed.
