The Zhukov was named for Russian General Grigori Konstantinovich Zhukov (1896-1974).

During this layover, Corey was challenged to a game of dom-jot by a Nausicaan, leading to a fight in which Picard was impaled by one of the Nausicaans and his heart was damaged beyond repair.
