  7. and Exit.  If you're a person who gets sick of hearing
  8. the same sounds every time you start and leave windows,
  9. you'll like this program.

  15. Installation

  17. Sound Shuffler consists of two separate programs:
  18.   1. Sound Shuffler Configuration Program (SSCONFIG.EXE)
  19.   2. Sound Shuffler (SOUNDSHF.EXE)

  21.   Sound Shuffler also requires VBRUN300.DLL

  23.   1. Sound Shuffler Configuration
  24.     This program is used to pick your ten favorite
  25.     StartUp and Exit WAVs.  Once you have your selected
  26.     sounds set up, you probably won't need this program
  27.     much (that is until you get sick of the 20 WAVs you
  28.     picked and decide to change them).

  30.   2. Sound Shuffler
  31.     This is the program that actually shuffles the sounds
  32.     for Windows StartUp and Exit.  Sound Shuffler does this
  33.     by modifying your WIN.INI file.  If you don't like the
  34.     idea of a program messing with your WIN.INI file, this
  35.     program probably isn't for you.

  37.     For automatic Sound Shuffling, it's suggested that you
  38.     put Sound Shuffler in your Windows StartUp Window.  It
  39.     only runs long enough to change the sounds in your
  40.     WIN.INI file, so you don't have to worry about it
  41.     constantly hogging memory (not that it uses that much
  42.     in the first place).

  46. ------------
  47. Sound Shuffler was designed as Shareware.  If you like it
  48. and plan on continued use, you should consider becoming a
  49. registered user.

  51. You can register via CompuServe using the GO SWREG
  52. service.  The price using this method of registration is
  53. ten dollars (which is the cheapest CompuServe allows for
  54. the SWREG service).
