- This is a newer arrangement I have made of THE BELLS by the early English
- composer William Byrd. I had previously uploaded another arrangment for the
- Casio CT-670. This version is for the GS Sound Canvas, and includes Bells and
- Percussion. All Patches and settings are made by System Exclusive Messages.
- If you do not have a sequencer that will support these Sysex Messages, then you
- should add the appropriate patch numbers in order to hear the correct
- instruments. If at all possible this file should be played only with a
- sequencer supporting the sysex messages. Among these are Jeff Casell's Song
- Canvas, Dan McKee's WinJammer, and a few others.
-
- Note: This is the 2nd upload of this version. I decided that there needed to
- be some revoicing in the sysex file, as the first one did not come out as I
- had intended. This version should sound less muddy, with a better separation
- of the parts.
-
- Suggested GS Patches:
-
- Organ 20
- Brass 58
- Harpsichord 7
- Strings 49
- Bells 15
- Harp 47
- Orchestral Percussion 48
-
- Hope you enjoy it.

- This is an even newer arrangment I have recently made of THE BELLS
- by William Byrd. I had originally uploaded an arrangement for the
- Casio CT-670, this arrangement is for the GS Sound Canvas. It also makes
- use of inbeded sysex messages to provide patches and system settings.
- Therefore if you don't have sequencer that supports sysex, then you will
- need to add patches. This can be played using Jeff Cazel's SONG CANVAS or
- Dan McKee's WINJAMMER, both of which support sysex. Enjoy. Larry
