  1. "Shhhhhh Goodnight" is an easy, soft, meaningful original song I composed in
  2. June 1995 for acoustic guitar and a soothing voice.  Its a lullaby for
  3. calming a frightened child.  Its about a little tadpole who grows up and
  4. jumps into the sky.  The chorus (refrain) goes:

  6. "Then he jumped so high, into the sky, and never came back.  If you listen
  7. now, you can hear him outside, saying "Shhhhhhhhhh good night".

  9. Its easy to find where the Chorus is; sing along.   We have words for verses
  10. also, but you can make up your own soothing words to the three verses as you
  11. desire.

  13. (This song is lovingly dedicated in honor of the late Burl Ives, whose music
  14. soothed me to sleep as a child and has been a major influence in my life; and
  15. without whom, the world would not be the same.)
