  1. These archives contain Standard Midi Files I promised to send to Piet's MIDI
  2. ftp site.All of them are of type 1 with split tracks.
  3. The songs were originally created for Roland Sound Canvas SC-55 module and
  4. some of them even contain its Sysex messages for individual drum settings
  5. or switching effects and their parameters during playback.The newer files
  6. do a sort of clean-up at the end,so they leave Canvas in defined state(for
  7. all channels VOL=127,REV=80,CHO=0,PG=1,no filter/envelope/vibrato changes).
  8. I recommend global settings Master Reverb=80,Master Chorus=50.
  9. For other GM modules(Yamaha TG100,Kawai GMega,Korg 05R/W ...) check the
  10. song for MT32 and CC 0=8 variations,as they are quite frequently used.

  29.         This I can recommend for almost all of the songs.
