- This is the 1.0.1 version of XtraNet.
- This is a demo release which does not include the example files or documentation.
- They will be completed and released shortly. You can obtain the updated archive
- for XtraNet from www.gmattter.com or www.humancode.com website or FTP location.

- XtraNet is available now for purchase for a one-time, per development station fee
- of $399. There are NO runtime royalties when you have purchased a copy of XtraNet!
- The retail product comes on a CD-ROM full of Director and Shockwave examples

- How To Install XtraNet with Director
- When Director launches, it automatically locates Xtras by looking in two
- special places:
-
- Macintosh Location #1:
- The Xtras folder which is in the same location as your
- Director application.

- Location #2:
- The Macromedia:Xtras folder contained in your System folder.
-
- Windows Location #1:
- The Xtras subdirectory which is in the same location as your
- Director application.
-
- Location #2:
- The Windows\Macromed\Xtras subdirectory on Windows 3.1 -OR-
- The Program Files\Common Files\Macromedia\Xtras subdirectory on Windows 95
- or Windows NT

- Macintosh
- Copy the XtraNet file to your Xtras folder. Copy the About XtraNet file to
- your Director Help folder.

- Windows
- Copy the XTRANET.X16 or XTRANET.X32 file to your Xtras folder. Copy the
- XTRANET.DXR file to your Director folder.

- How To Install XtraNet with Shockwave
- When a Shockwave for Director plug-in launches, it automatically
- locates Xtras by looking in a special Support folder. This folder must
- be located in one of the following places:

- Macintosh (All browsers) 68K:
- The NP-68K-Dir-Shockwave Folder folder contained in your browser's plug-ins folder.

- PowerPC:
- The NP-PPC-Dir-Shockwave Folder folder contained in your browser's plug-ins folder.

- Windows (Netscape Navigator and compatible browsers) 3.1:
- The NP16DSW directory contained in your browser's plug-ins directory.

- 95/NT:
- The NP32DSW directory contained in your browser's plug-ins directory.

- Windows (Microsoft Internet Explorer and other Windows browsers) 3.1:
- The WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory.

- 95/NT:
- The WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory.
- To make XtraNet available to your browsers, copy the appropriate Xtra
- to the support folder for your browser.
