SITUATION
..underline
.body
The Department of Housing and Urban Development is being criticized for several of their building renovation programs.
It would appear that HUD has been "going condo" in some of the most out-of-the-way places.
Impatient with HUD's resistance to this criticism, a radical group of realtors has finally decided to "make good" its promise to resolve these issues with force.
The plaid-coated commandos have assembled a small military task force to descend upon four of HUD's flagship renovations.
Rumor has it that their goals are to decrease the number of rentable apartment units so as to inflate the local real estate market, which will in turn increase the realtor's sales commisions.

MISSION OBJECTIVE
..underline
.body
You are the Iowa National Guard with assigments to protect at least the last three of the four buildings in HUD's complex.
The enemy consists of tanks, bombers and light AAA all hell-bent on making plaster of HUD's "affordable garden apartments."
Unfortunately, only your two F/A-18's, two ground tanks and the complex's integrated missle site serve as HUD's defenses (Bob Villa's enhancements. The episode should be airing soon on PBS).
But be careful! The realtors are using a mix of U.S. and foreign weaponry on the ground. Do not fire on friendlies defending the block!

MISSION SUCCESS
.left
.body
Kicking butt! You have demonstrated an excellent ability to handle multiple bandits approaching from multiple vectors.
You were quick and decisive, and weren't afraid to get your hand dirty to complete the job!
You aparently also looked before you fired on the ground; your weekend-warrior buddies in the tanks thank you!
By the way, HUD wants to offer you some special lease rates for compensation on a job well done...

MISSION FAILURE

The battlefield can get complex!
The air threats should be your first order of attack. Quickly determine which planes need the most attention, and in what order.
Don't conserve your missiles only to loose the mission. When the skies are empty, go after the ground targets, with guns if you have to.
Now try it again and get it right this time! Remember not to shoot friendlies!
