SITUATION

Once again we have to abandon our base. The Ukrainian army is going to try to hold the Russian advance along the Dnieper, and we are on the wrong side. Once based in Krvyy Rih, we will be in a position to raid their ground troops. We will finish relocating our supplies this morning.

MISSION OBJECTIVE

.body
We don't have a lot of time. The remaining personnel and supplies will be leaving shortly. There is a C-130 with our bulky items, and a convoy crossing the Dnieper with our people and other supplies. Multiple bogeys are incoming indicating a multi-pronged attack.
DO NOT defend the base. Protect the C-130, the bridge across the Dnieper, and the convoy. The first wave will probably be Fulcrums or Flankers intent on establishing air superiority, followed by ground attack craft.
They may also try to take out the bridge the convoy will cross on, so keep an eye on that as well as the C-130. Once the C-130 is away, proceed to the bridge and defend it and the convoy. When the convoy is safely in Ukrainian held lands, follow the C-130 to our new base.
You will be flying the Eagle, with Poltern on your wing in our last Flanker. Dmitri will also be flying under your command in a Flogger. There will be a lot of targets, so make sure you have an ID on the one in your sights!

MISSION SUCCESS

Great job! You kept your wing on the bounce and kept our asses out of the sling. My faith in your leadership was justified. You will be flying in the morning, so get some rest.

MISSION FAILURE

You should have kept your eye on the ball. Ignore any attack craft hitting the old base. Send your wingmen after the Backfire going for the bridge while you take out the MiG-29s threatening the C-130. From then on out, its just one big, hairy, furball.
