  20. Installation:

  22.  Put the files in your DOOM directory and make sure you have 
  23.  around 3 meg left on the disk. type:
  24.    INSTALL
  25.  Then if all went okay you can play DOOM by typing:
  26.    BARNEY
  27.  Your DOOM.WAD or DOOM2.WAD is not affected.
  28.  This install only works on registered DOOM.
  29.  
  30. Combining with CHOOK (for instance):   
  31.  Should you wish to play those patch with CHOOK, get the DeuTex 
  32.  utility (in the /deu directory of the DOOM sites) and type:
  33.    DeuSF -restore BARNEY2.WAD    (uninstall BARNEY)
  34.    DeuTex -merge BARNEY2.WAD
  35.  then install Chook. 
  36.  Then type:
  37.    DeuTex -restore 
  38.  Your DOOM.WAD will be temporarily modified, then restored to it's
  39.  previous state. BARNEY must NOT be installed.
  40.  To play BARNEY + CHOOK type:
  41.   DOOM -file BARNEY2.WAD CHOOK.WAD
  42.  
  43. Using under WinDOOM (beta version):
  44.  DeuTex -merge BARNEY2.WAD
  45.  WindDOOM
  46.  DeuTex -restore
