  3. Doom 2 Fast Weapons and Ultra Fast Super Shotgun
  4.  
  5. This is a patch for Dehacked v2.0 and for Doom 2 ONLY !
  6.  
  7. This patch will make all the weapons as fast as they could possibilly be.  
  8. This patch will also give you infinite ammo for all the weapons.
  9. Check out the Super Shotgun and you will be amazed, I promise !

  11. Weapons
  12.  
  13. Punch:                  I made the punch really fast.  All you have to do 
  14.                         is hold out your hand and if anything touches it
  15.                         dies.  Get some berserk and watch those guts fly.
  16.                         If you have berserk you can kill the baron in less
  17.                         than a second if you get him cornered.
  18.                         
  19. Pistol:                 I made the pistol faster than the original chaingun.
  20.                         That's the only weapon that you need to beat the 
  21.                         entire game on Nightmare.
  22.  
  23. Shotgun:                I made the shotgun so fast that it kills the Cyber
  24.                         in no time flat.  This is for all the crazies out
  25.                         there that need the power.
  26.  
  27. Super Shotgun:          This is the jewel of the arsenal.  I made the Super
  28.                         Shotgun into a Ultra Fast Super Shotgun.  This baby
  29.                         can rip the guts out of anybody in Doom 2 in less 
  30.                         than a second.  Load it up and have a party.
  31.                         Warning: This weapons is so powerful that it can take
  32.                         the fun out of the game!  Beware of the awsome power!

  34. Chaingun:               I made the chaingun three times as fast as it 
  35.                         originally was.  Now you can take this baby into a 
  36.                         room full of troopers and watch them do the chaingun 
  37.                         cha-cha as they were hyper on a sugar rush.  I had a 
  38.                         problem with this weapon, this weapon didn't let me 
  39.                         use the infinite ammo type number on it so I just 
  40.                         made the maximum ammount of bullets that you can 
  41.                         hold to be 65535.  I also made each clip and box 
  42.                         worth 65535 bullets.
  43.                         
  44. Rocket Launcher:        The only thing that I did to the rocket launcher is
  45.                         I made it very, very fast.  You can lay down anything
  46.                         with this baby.  Use only away from walls because one
  47.                         slip up and you are going to be floting belly up in 
  48.                         a puddle of boiling blood !
  49.  
  50. Plasma Rifle:           I made the plasma rifle so fast that if you look
  51.                         at the shots from the side you will see a continuous
  52.                         line of plasma bullets.  Take this into a level full
  53.                         of troopers and watch them fry.
  54.  
  55. BFG9000:                I made the BFG9000 into a super fast BFG9000.  Try 
  56.                         this baby out on an army of Cyberdeamons, they don't 
  57.                         even stand a chance.
  58.  
  59. Chainsaw:               I made the chainsaw really fast.  You can kill almost
  60.                         any regular enemy in less than one second.  Take this
  61.                         baby and try it out on the Hell Knights, they won't 
  62.                         know what got into them.

  67. I only make quality patches that look good and act great.  This the second
  68. fast weapons patch that I made.  The first one was for Doom 1 and was called
  69. FSTWPN11.ZIP.

  71. The super shotgun sounds kind of weird when you shoot it.  I personally don't
  72. mind the sound too much.  If you send me mail saying that you hate the 
  73. sound I will change the sound it into some thing ealse maybe the chaingun
  74. sound.

  86. You MAY do anything with this patch file that you like.  The only thing
  87. that I ask you is that you give me credit for my work if you decide to
  88. change this file or use parts of it in your own file.

  90. Instructions:

  92. 1. Get the Dehacked v2.0 program.
  93. 2. Unzip the Dehacked v2.0 program into the Doom 2 directory.
  94. 3. Edit the DEHACKED.INI file so that it matches your system.
  95. 4. Unzip the DM2WPN.ZIP file into the Doom 2 directory.
  96. 5. Backup your DOOM2.EXE with the command
  97.    COPY DOOM2.EXE DOOM2.EX_
  98. 6. Load the DM2WPN.DEH file into the Dehacked v2.0 program using the command
  99.    DEHACKED -LOAD DM2WPN.DEH
  100. 7. Run Doom 2 and enjoy.
