- TERMINATOR 2 Sounds v1.01 (2-11-94)
-
- These sounds were recorded from Terminator 2 Special Edition Laserdisc.
-
- The source was THX but the sounds were recorded via line-in of a Sound
- Blaster 16 w/ASP. The sounds were recorded at 22KHz, 16bit and mono.
- These were then converted to 11Khz at 8bit and 22KHz and 8 bit. Some sounds
- were modified (ie: cropped, faded out, and or filtered). Some sounds may
- sound like shit but that is because of 8bit sound quality. If the game used
- 16bit sounds, then it would've sounded better.
-
- Some sound numbers have a couple of different types for it. Choose the
- one you like better. Modify the TERM2.bat to use the sound you want.
-
- Note: There is one sound that didn't come from the T2 laserdisc.
- It is number 42-1.wav. Use it as you please.
-
- Important Notes:
- After you run the Term2.bat, copy the .WAD file elsewhere and defrag the drive
- when DOOM directory is located.
- Then copy the .WAD file back to the DOOM directory. This should be done
- because after the sound replacement, the .WAD is probably in several
- locations and not all together.
- You can modify the sounds, but please do not distribute the modified sounds.
- If you plan to use these sounds, I assume no responsibilities if your
- computer blows up, melts, fries, gets stolen, stops working, or any other
- unmentioned problem. So there! :-P
- Put the Doom Audio Editor v1.0 by Bill Neisius (bill@solaria.hac.com) in
- your Doom directory.
