Spectrum's desktop front end is up to the standard of Artworks and Impression, and the magazine viewer is similar. However, I am tempted to suggest that you support high res screen modes. My favourite area was the pictures of you all!

I was very impressed with the whole layout, the quality of the coding and the obvious amount of effort that has gone into making the magazine an informative, enjoyable, easy to use creditable piece of software/literature. Spectrum 2 was well produced within the constraints of the PD market (ie you don't get money to develop). You should however be more aware of the incredible amount of, or potential for being, thickos in the public out there. They generally want everything in huge red letters saying "DO THIS NOW!!". You should have a menu item on the iconbar icon for entering the magazine; the interactive help should say "click here to enter magazine" when over the icon. Perhaps a text file (which should be the same width as the Risc OS 2 window it *may* be displayed in) explaining things. I liked the fact that you've got people's signatures in there. Spectrum 2 is better than New Dawn, not as good as Illusions, but that is commercial. I am tempted to suggest that you use a smaller toolbar and lose the stars when loading an article. I would class my programming skills as demon at Electron BASIC... what are those [ things for on the keyboard? Hmm, nice questionnaire program by the way, best I've seen.
