- Has anyone tried configuring a ZONE or alternate/general_purpose gateway
- for SMTP under UCX 2.0 (with patches)?
-
- What I want to do is route all mail except that destined for the
- domain mcc.ac.uk via nessie.mcc.ac.uk
-
- I've used the command:
-
- SET CONFIG SMTP/ZONE=mcc.ac.uk/GATEWAY=ALTERNATE=nessie.mcc.ac.uk
-
- but mail sent to v3.ph.man.ac.uk, gets bounced with NOSUCHNODE error
- from SMTP.
-
- I should add that the said machine does exist in the DNS and runs UCX 1.3a,
- however, our gateway machine should be able to convert to another
- mail protocol that this machine does understand (Coloured Book Software).
- It seems a connection is made, the SMTP request is rejected and SMTP then
- gives up instead of trying a gateway.
-
- Any help much appreciated.
