- I was wondering if anyone is doing VMS BACKUPs over an extended LAN using
- TCP/IP. I have started doing some remote backups lately and it's pretty slow
- using FAL. I am running VMS 5.5-2 and Multinet 3.1 (soon to be 3.2)
-
- I thought of (perhaps) doing a TELNET/CREATE hostname to create a NTY: and then
- backup to that device. Any comments or better solutions?
