- Hi.
-
- I have MULTINET 3.1 set up for a printer queue as stated in the
- manual. The packets I see on the net have <cr> & <lf> in the between
- lines. So far so good.
-
- The printers at the far end, B300 and LA 120, apparently print
- lines without <lf>'s in them. The box in the middle is a 3COM cs/210
- terminal server. It's the only box in the middle with any
- "intelligence" at all. I don't count 56KB modems. I think the 210 is
- eating the <lf>'s.
-
- Anybody have or know of this configuration that works properly, i.e.
- <lf>'s get "printed" and not eaten up on the way? I'm desperate here.
- These printers are in remote campuses and I can't just try random
- settings easily.
-
- And my users, students, are upset.
-
- Students pay the bills here, not to mention my salary :-(.
-
- ANY help MUCH appreciated.
-
- Thanks much.
-
- desperate,
