  11. I am looking for a quick/simple(?) method to handle mail between PMDF on one
  12. node of a non-homogeneous cluster and DEC's MRGATE and All-in-1 Mail (not IOS) 
  13. based on another node of the cluster.

  15. The main difficulty I face (until I can relocate the MR component to the node
  16. with PMDf and install PMDF-MR [hooray! but not in the shorter term...]) is the 
  17. rewriting of the from addresses of the mail entering PMDF from MRGATE. The 
  18. from address typically looks like

  20.     "RTWKV::MRGATE::\"AM::SYSPRGD\""@Roads.SA.Gov.AU
  21.  
  22. when it reaches it's destination. 
  23. RTWKV = cluster alias
  24. AM = All-in-1 Mail MR mailbox
  25.  
  26. I would have thought the best method would be to attempt to rewrite the from 
  27. address to something more like

  29.         sysprgd@mrgate.Roads.SA.Gov.AU
  30.  
  31. which is then easy to handle on the incoming side.
