  17. Hmmm, could it be because there are _more_ people?  Anyway, I was
  18. reading somewhere that in the last 10 year or so, consumption of beer
  19. and wines has gone up while consumption of hard liquor has gone down.
  20. So it could be that people are drinking more beer and wine which is
  21. raising the numbers.

  23. But anyway, Gerry, what do you care what people drink?  Assuming that
  24. you don't have to deal with the after effects of other people's
  25. drinking (drunk driving, carpet stains, etc...) what is your
  26. objection?
