  22. Such judgmental attacks are part of the reason Christianity is thought so
  23. poorly of by so many people today. Pat answers, often Bible verses pulled
  24. out of context, waved in people's faces do not bring healing, comfort,
  25. or encouragement.

  27. If I were a non-Christian in search of answers or encouragement, I would
  28. not turn to someone who self-righteously spouts scriptures and then
  29. pretends to have the inside track on whether other people are Christians.
  30. I would turn to someone who exhibits agape love. You can hang a cross 
  31. around hate's neck, but that doesn't make it love, no matter how many
  32. verses you can quote.
