  17. This is America here.  In this country, the word is spelled "tire".
  18. You Brits do as you like, but if you are going to address us Yanks,
  19. please do us the courtesy of spelling the words as we would perceive
  20. them to be spelled correctly.

  26. In fact, it is not.  Neither I, nor anyone else that I would call my
  27. "chum", would ever assault any individual with a threat of violence
  28. such as this for _ANY_ reason.  (Of course, "self defense" falls
  29. outside this usage of assault, but then "self-defense is hardly what
  30. is being described above.)
