  33. I really don't think you're trying to understand anything.  People ask
  34. me questions about Judaism all the time and I try to answer them.  The
  35. feeling I get from you is not that you want to understand, rather that
  36. you are obsessed with what you believe to be bad points of Judaism,
  37. Jews, and Israel.

  49. As far as I and most other Jews are concerned, when a person converts to
  50. Judaism, they become an "ethnic Jew".   This could be hard to
  51. understand, so perhaps we should use another word besides ethnicity,
  52. (not race).  I've always considered Jews to be a people or a worldwide
  53. community.

  70. converts may live in Israel.  I assume this is what you mean by
  71. "admitting".

  77. They accept and submit to the laws of Judaism.  That's what I always
  78. thought was the point of converting to any religion.  If they don't want
  79. to submit to Judaism they shouldn't convert.  Seems fairly simple to me.
  80. Would someone convert to Christianity and not want to accept and submit
  81. to that religion?  That would be silly.

  84. interests and agenda of the convert?
