  12. A poster here this morning wondered what the genesis of federal
  13. gun law in the United States was; I pointed out that he should
  14. procure a copy of "The NAZI Roots of Gun Control," written and
  15. published by the Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership,
  16. Milwaukee, Wisconsin (414-769-0760). Their book shows conclusively
  17. that US law reads virtually word for word (discounting differences
  18. resulting from US federalism) as does the 1938 German law.
  19. This book is an eye opener; it's also being disavowed by the senion
  20. senior NRA management, because it runs the gun-controllers clean
  21. out of "wiggle room." Once the facts of the book are on the table,
  22. all arguments for gun control relating to "crime" become moot.
  23. The POLITICAL motivation for gun control becomes the only reasonable
  24. explanation. Good book; all activists should have at least one
  25. copy.
