- *WHICH* group, Alka? Alt.peeves, perchance? If you look closely,
- you may find it in the Newsgroups line above. Alt.peeves does not exist to
- be nice, supportive, or even to pontificate anything of a moral nature.
- Alt.peeves exists to provide a forum for bitching, moaning, flaming, and
- generally telling of anything that pisses us off, and is certainly not for
- rational discourse. So far the cross-posting has been something of a
- poaching expedition; the residents of alt.peeves consider you so easy to
- take that it's hardly a sport any more.

- There are loads of others, like yourself, who've never even thought
- of using a RETURN key as well. In addition, there are loads of people, such
- as myself, who have not only thought of issues concerning animal rights,
- but have been animal caretakers for years and find the whole issue to be
- one of starry-eyes idealists pontificating on how great it would be if just
- everybody agreed with them. "Wouldn't it be great if..." Yeah, and may
- the Swedish Bikini Team have crabs when it parachutes into your picnic.

-
- You're right -- you might become less tiresome were you to give up
- and extend the consideration you give to animals to humans as well.
-

-
- Then why bring them up? You forgot to mention the short intestines,
- the single and small stomach, the cuspids, the nutrient requirements, etc...
- If you believe Thag, just 5,000 years ago, was able to provide a healthy
- and balanced diet for himself based upon what plants he found, then I
- suggest your grasp of reality could use a firmer grip.

-
- Good for you. I don't care, and won't bother with such trivial
- stuff when I've far more important things to do.
-
- >p.s.: I've noticed a real ugly sort of hostility directed against male AR

-
- Well, you are and probably don't. Don't bother to refute this
- assumption -- I don't care enough to bother reading this far into the post,
- and besides I'd probably think you were lying to save face. You can't win.
-
- >Do you think you might want to grow up today or preferably, yesterday? Or

-
- Having eaten a fair number, though not of the human variety, I find
- the taste to be quite good. Disgusting? Not at all. As for growing up,
- I note you're the one bitching about opposing opinions here and calling
- for no lapse in voicing your opinions. Review the Sesame Street episode
- (brought to you by the letters C, D, and the number 7) on "cooperation"
- and see if you can't find a clue somewhere therein. That should be
- about your speed in these sorts of exchanges.
