  12. Thanks to the vagaries of the net L. Stewart's challenge is already
  13. becoming a hydra.  So far I've read two offshoots, and I noticed
  14. that one was definitely the work of people who read or have read
  15. in the past those paperback tomes adorned with cover illustrations
  16. of bronzed, well-muscled men with stern brows hideously disfigured
  17. by malignant growths in the form of scantily-clad women.  I don't
  18. know what the other group of people read.
