- I don't know of any self-help groups, especially since you didn't
- note your geographical area, but you might start with the hospital
- where your wife had her operation. Another source of information is
- the book "Our Bodies, Our Selves," originally published by the
- Boston Women's Heath Collective. One more suggestion:
- there's an excellent organization in the San Francisco Bay area here in
- California called Planetree that provides health information on
- almost any medical problem. They might be a source of information
- that would help your wife understand and deal with what's happened
- to her. Or they might be able to find you the name of a support
