- This is the kind of uninformed homophobic nonsense that the Joint Chiefs
- are spouting. If they would fight as hard for Veterans rights as they do
- agaionst gays then we'd all be better off. I didn't hear them threatening
- to resign over Agent Orange or the poor treatment accorded veterans.
- I think Powell's attitude is particularly disturbing since many of the same
- things are being said about gays as were said about blacks prior to their
- integration into the military.
