- So, rumor has it some of you have been asking about me.
-
- I'm fine. I've been living in California (Silicon Valley) for almost
- four years, now. Except for three straight weeks of rain, I love it here
- and have a nice social circle--far larger than I had in DC. I meet
- lots of new people all the time.
-
- I was employed for a while by a major computer magazine publishing
- company but had lots of problems with their upper management and I
- quit. Since November, I've been consulting to small compnaies--providing
- internal tech support for their LAN's and PC's. I kinda enjoy
- consulting and am debating with myself as to whether to continue or
- look for the near-perfect fulltime position.
-
- As John Fereira posted, I still attend the local net.parties but really
- haven't organized anything in over a year. The last USECON I organized was
- Halloween of 1990. I may do some more local parties but I don't think I'll
- do national parties for a long time.
-
- Although I was in a relationship for four months last year, my
- intensity did cause us to break up but we're still friends.
- I've pretty much accepted that "it'll never happen" and have resigned
- myself to being happy with computers, Star Trek, and other partnerless
- activities. I no longer discuss the feelings with anyone except my
- closest friends.
-
- I don't read soc.singles anymore. After 7 years, it sorta gets
- redundantly repetitious with the only addition being an overwhelming
- number of people and articles. I saw some of the articles with my name
- because a friend emailed them to me.
-
- Feel free to email if you're interested in anything specific...
