- See, this is the same effect as the music nostalgia!

- The better old movies get more broadcast time in relation to the mediocre
- old movies than they used to ("broadcast time" meaning box office play or
- TV play). Current movies don't have the benefit of this 'filtering' effect,
- so we're inundated with more 'bad' new movies than 'bad' old movies.
