- For my part, a need to feel superior (or, at least, the sorts of
- superiour that lead to habitual contempt, putdowns, and whatnot, as
- opposed to the striving after excellence that some are stricken with)
- usually creeps up on me when I'm scared; very often when I'm scared
- that someone will notice I'm loathsome.

- over time.
