- I may be taking this out of context but, in all my experience, anyone
- I have ever spoken with and I myself consider anyone not married to be
- "single". The fact that one might have or not have freinds and how close
- she or he might be toward those friends has no bearing on whether or not
- one is "single". The exception to this rule: Some who are engaged might
- refer to themselves as "being engaged" as opposed to being single.
- Although, technically, they still remain to be single until they marry.
