  17. start a relationship, you will be trying to balance between showing
  18. interest and looking desperate. Ask too soon, and you will look like
  19. you are in a rush to get involved with anyone you can get your hands
  20. on. Ask her out too late, and it will look like you are preoccupied
  21. and not giving her enough attention.

  23. I usually think about when the next convenient time for a date would
  24. be (say next weekend), and then double that time. But that's just me.
