  21. satirical, and it was perfectly obvious that you didn't hear John's points.
  22. If it's funny, we can forgive a lot, but I didn't find your Indian accent 
  23. posts to be very funny at all and your response to John's flame wasn't very
  24. funny.  So there's nothing to excuse your lack of sensitivity.

  30. imitated his presumed accent.  It's the equivalent of pointing and laughing.

  37. Because there's a big difference in making a joke between insiders and
  38. pointing at an outsider.  I've never been seriously harrassed for being of
  39. german descent, so I'm likely to find a joke about German-Americans 
  40. at worst non-offensive.  I have at times faced real discrimination 
  41. and harrassment for being a female, so a joke about women had better be 
  42. funny or it's going to push my buttons.  Nothing inconsistent about that.
