  31. In all my searches for female companionship, I've never been interested
  32. in provoking responses in general, only from those females that *I* have
  33. an interest in.  In other words, I look for *filters* that I can
  34. broadcast generally.  One good example is my perennial .sig of the past
  35. two years, "Hugs and backrubs -- I break Rule 6".  It rarely gets a
  36. response from someone I'm uninterested in meeting.

  38. It's not that all of this is calculated, mind you.  It's more that in
  39. communicating with others, we need to constantly choose what aspects of
  40. ours to share.  I simply make some effort to publicize those parts of me
  41. that I think will attract those that I'm attracted to.

  43. While I didn't get into a Relationship until fairly recently, I think
  44. that one *solid* success and a number of good friends is a pretty good
  45. record.
