  20. I didn't have particular trouble finding French on T-shirts.  I have two,
  21. from the same place in Grenoble---one is a quote from Nietsche:
  22. "Without music, life is a mistake"
  23. and the other is a picture and quote from Descartes:
  24. "Those of great spirit are capable of the greatest evils or the greatest good".

  28. You can also get Tin Tin T-shirts, along with shirts featuring other
  29. French cartoon characters (Asterix, Lucky Luke, etc).  Pretty expensive
  30. stuff though.  I have a small model "Milou" (i.e. "Snowy") from Tin Tin.
  31. French pop-culture is a lot more vibrant than those of other European
  32. countries.
