  27. Ok peoples, I thought it's time for me to say something about this. This
  28. newsgroup is soc.penpals, NOT soc.bash.someone.by.hiding.behind.a.computer.
  29. I don't want to see the original purpose or the integrity of this newsgroup
  30. tainted by all this unnecessary bickering.

  32. I've made lots of good friends through this newsgroup, and there are alot
  33. of nice people out there. Of course, there are always going to be some
  34. people who are not so nice. I believe if you just ignore the hot-headed
  35. comments made and rationally think things over, then you won't have any
  36. problems. People say things to provoke reactions from others, hoping they
  37. will make others stoop to their level. These types of people are not really
  38. interested in what you have to say, nor will your comments change their ways.
  39. But they do get a kick out of it.

  41. I suggest we all calmly end this thread, and start doing what this newsgroup
  42. was created for -- making new friends from around the world!!! :)
