  22. made in and around SF :->  It's bizarre seing people I know from there
  23. in porn places several thousand kilometers away.

  34. to preach about how cool a place it is if I don't watch myself.

  43. I personally think that the "gay media" suffers from some of the
  44. same syndrome that "gay literature" does.  I.e. that they are neither
  45. media nor literature.  The Advocate and rags of it's ilk are not
  46. what I would consider unbiased, or even decent reporters.  As for what
  47. is often passed off as Gay Lit., well let's just say that I have an
  48. attitude problem about that.  This is not to say that there isn't good,
  49. or even great gay lit. it's just that the bulk of what people currently 
  50. consider gay lit. to be is just above the level of trash.
