- I personally think that the "gay media" suffers from some of the
- same syndrome that "gay literature" does. I.e. that they are neither
- media nor literature. The Advocate and rags of it's ilk are not
- what I would consider unbiased, or even decent reporters. As for what
- is often passed off as Gay Lit., well let's just say that I have an
- attitude problem about that. This is not to say that there isn't good,
- or even great gay lit. it's just that the bulk of what people currently
- consider gay lit. to be is just above the level of trash.
