  20. I think that's because airlines advertise on Prodigy.

  22. GEnie isn't completely free from censorship, but I know there are private adult  
  23. areas and they are pretty free-wheeling.  The only real "censorship" rules I've  
  24. seen on GEnie are:

  26.      put asterisks in certain "four-letter" words (like f*ck)
  27.      avoid personal attacks (they usually wind up in an
  28.            area called "dueling modems")
  29.      you can't use bulletin board areas to start boycotts or
  30.            letter-writing campaigns.  This "rule" is generally
  31.            not enforced, except when the target of said campaign
  32.            is NBC (the parent company of which is the same parent
  33.            company of GEnie---General Electric)
