- Is the ban a good thing? Of course not. But pardon me from
- wanting to rank things like equal rights for everyone against
- a specific career opportuninty for a few.

- How is eliminating the last major government law enforcing discrimination
- not an equal rights issue? The very existance of that law is important,
- even for those that do not wish to join the military.

- You suggest that those fighting for the repeal of this ban are interested
- in "specific career opportunities for a few", which is unworthy to those
- who have risked their careers fighting discrimination. Unwrap the
- snideness and condescending attitude from your remark and there's a
- real point in there about priorities that you do not do justice to.
- We may have higher priority battles, but this is hardly an unworthy one.
