  14.     wanting to rank things like equal rights for everyone against
  15.     a specific career opportuninty for a few.

  17. How is eliminating the last major government law enforcing discrimination
  18. not an equal rights issue?  The very existance of that law is important,
  19. even for those that do not wish to join the military.

  21. You suggest that those fighting for the repeal of this ban are interested
  22. in "specific career opportunities for a few", which is unworthy to those
  23. who have risked their careers fighting discrimination.  Unwrap the 
  24. snideness and condescending attitude from your remark and there's a
  25. real point in there about priorities that you do not do justice to.
  26. We may have higher priority battles, but this is hardly an unworthy one.
