- NO offense but this is as useful as "what really needs to happen
- is for his folks to not be homophobes". The parents have no motivation
- whatsoever to go to a different shrink - they got the answer they
- wanted to hear. Hearing dissenting opinions from other shrinks
- isn't likely to have any effect - it contradicts their predetermined
- answer. He needs to seek counseling, but outside of
- his parents influence. For most people under 25 that is difficult
- to arrange both logistically and financially... There is rarely
- if ever a "perfect and simple" solution.
