- How about a sit-down dinner orgy? Black toga, of course.

- Great, Tom! I'd love to share a jail cell with you. That could be a
- hot scene. :)

- ::: begin obElvis digression :::
- Has anyone else carefully read the lyrics to the third stanza from
- _Jailhouse Rock_?
-
- Number Forty-Seven said to Number Three,
- "You're the cutest jailbird that I ever did see.
- I sure would be delighted with your com-pa-ny.
- Come on and do the Jailhouse Rock with me!"
-
- As long as I digress, here's another good one from _Teddy Bear_:
-
- Baby let me be your lovin' teddy bear.
- Put a chain around my neck and lead me anywhere!
- Oh let me be (oh let him be!) your teddy bear.
- (pah pah d dah, pah pah d dah)
-
- Spot the hidden clue! Win a cabal decoder ring.

- The more Congress and the Pentagon threaten to block Clinton's executive
- order, the more immediacy the March takes on. A major undercurrent of
- rage for the '87 March was the Bowers v. Hardwick decision of July '86.
- I was beginning to think this was going to be some kind of love-fest.
- In some ways it's good that the Pentagon is kicking up such a fuss,
- it will shake us out of what I see as a rapidly spreading complaisency
- since Clinton won the election. The right wing certainly isn't being
- complaisent, as anyone in a targeted state can attest. The March needs
- an angry edge. There is plenty still to be angry about.
-
- Is it just me, or is the Pentagon looking amazingly childish over this
- whole exec order thing? I mean, one by one all the tired fig leaves
- justifying the ban have been stripped away until we're left with a bunch
- of insecure adolescents with a lot of guns who don't want to shower with
- those icky queers. I've always thought there were two professions
- that should be banned by the Surgeon General as prolonged exposure
- to them results in irreversable personality damage -- the military, and
- traveling salespeople.
