  28.    These folks already give tons of money to AIDS care, education, and
  29.    research.  I'm not sure what their feelings are concerning general
  30.    social equality.  They probably don't have much real-world exposure
  31.    and what they had growing up was probably forgotten/denied (one reason
  32.    why a lot of people don't get behind youth out-reach programs is
  33.    becuase of denial of their own very painful childhood).

  35. Elton John experienced a very serious drop in sales when he first came
  36. out.  And I can't say for sure, but I'm sure that was combined with
  37. lots of nasty mail.  So he hasn't been totally insulated.
