  25. acting?  For that matter, what do Academy Awards have to
  26. do with any kind of acting?

  28. I think Katharine Hepburn is a great movie star.  That I
  29. don't particularly care for her is a failing, I suppose.
  30. (That I can't stand Humphrey Bogart is a sign of my
  31. good taste.)  There's something about Hepburn that sets
  32. my teeth on edge.  The only performance of hers I ever
  33. really enjoyed was in "Alice Adams", although I would
  34. only ever go back to watch that film again in order
  35. to see the absolutely wonderful Hattie McDaniel in what
  36. has to be one of the funniest performances ever captured
  37. on film.
